Wolf Point School District counselors will be holding a Signs of Suicide (SOS) Program soon. This important activity can empower students to know what signs to look for and what to do to help those suffering from mental illness.

SOS will:

  • Teach students how to advocate for other students who may be struggling with mental health issues.

  • Teach students to learn the warning signs of major changes, feeling hopeless, or talking about death or suicide.

  • Teach students to share their struggles with an adult, listen without judgment, and talk openly about mental health.

  • Teach students to learn their resources for help.

  • Teaches ACT: Acknowledge, Care, and Tell.

SOS is an important tool for students to have as they navigate through life in order to save lives.

WP Junior Senior High has extended the deadline for your child's permission slip to the Signs of Suicide Training until April 17th, 2025. Your child will learn another important life skill.  This slip was sent home not too long ago. You can also find a link to the form below.
